2024 ENFM Vendor Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the East Nashville Farmers' Market!

The East Nashville Farmers’ Market is in its 17th season providing fresh local foods to our neighbors of East Nashville. Our 2024 Market Schedule is every Tuesday 3:30-6:30pm April 2nd-Oct. 29th, 3:30-6pm Nov. 5th-Dec. 17th at the corner of 5th and Woodland Street. Our paved lot sits directly across from the Church of the Nazarene. It is surrounded by shrubbery and trees with great street visibility, heavy traffic, and plenty of free parking. There is not much shade in our lot, so please take this into account for your type of product.

All potential vendors are required to submit an application. All approved applicants will receive notification by email or phone as soon as possible. If accepted, you are expected to commit to every week of the season unless approved by the market manager. All 2024 vendors must adhere to our Nashville Community Farmers' Market Association Rules and Regulations, as well as the rules set by The Church of the Nazarene to be able to participate.

Load-In:
- Load-in occurs every Tuesday between 2-2:45pm.
- Cars should be out of the market area no later than 3pm.
- Each vendor should be ready to sell by 3:15pm..
- We do not accept sales before 3:30pm unless previously arranged with a customer.
- You will receive a weekly email that includes a market map and important market details either the Monday or Tuesday morning before the market.
- Vendors are required to read these emails.

All vendors are required to pay market fees. Market fees for 2024 are as follows:
- Each vendor pays a $15 base-rate per market day.
- After each vendor surpasses $300 in sales, $5 will be added onto their $15 base-rate with every $100 in sales.

The ENFM accepts SNAP benefits (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps). Here's how your SNAP customers can shop at the ENFM:
- Shoppers can bring their EBT cards to our information tent and make a transaction in exchange for wooden tokens that can be used at our market.
- Vendors will only accept wooden tokens with the ENFM logo on it, and will not accept tokens from other farmers' markets. .
- At the end of each market day, vendors will present their tokens to the market manager who will subtract the total amount of tokens from the vendor's market fee.
- SNAP tokens are to be used for fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, dairy, bread, meats, canned drinks and other packaged foods. They are not to be accepted for hot foods or ready-to-consume foods like a sandwich from a food truck or an iced coffee or slushee.
*each vendor at the ENFM is expected to accept SNAP if it applies to their products

The First Church of the Nazarene allows our market to rent their parking lot every week. Here are the Church Rules:
- No use of tobacco, alcohol, or CBD products on church grounds (not by vendors or shoppers – that means if you want to smoke, you MUST step out of the parking lot).
